Who doesn't love a parade?  The annual Wish Upon A Star Easter Parade is one of the best.  Featuring decorated floats, marching bands and the Easter Bunny, this year's parade kicked off at the Will County Office building and headed south on Chicago Street to Jefferson, turned East on Jefferson to Scott, and followed Scott back north to the start point.

Sunday, March 16, 2008 (Palm Sunday)
Wish Upon A Star Easter Parade
Chicago Street – 2pm

• Celebrate Easter in Downtown Joliet - Sunday, March 16th (Palm Sunday)
• Disney’s Lady and the Tramp movie will play at the Rialto Square Theatre at 12:00 pm and Antz 4:00pm (After the Parade)
• Renaissance Center – Buffet and Pictures with the Easter Bunny and a Fun Fair.
• Joliet Area Historical Museum will host activities from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Library will host activities from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
• Family Activities at Jackhammers Stadium
  2:00 pm
• Wish Upon A Star Foundation will host a Hot Dog lunch inside the Rialto Theatre from 11am to 1:30 pm on the day of the Parade.

Gates will open at at 9:30 am
An Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 10 am on the field.
The eggs will be stuffed with yummy candy, pro shop coupons, and tickets coupons! Tickets will be available for purchase until 11 am. Pro-Shop will be available until 11 am as well.

We will have the field coned/roped off to keep age groups together. (Safety!!) The age groups we will have 0-4, 5-7, 8-11, 12-up

There will be THOUSANDS off eggs full of great offers and prizes!
